1989 : Company founded by Dr Pierre Sudraud, researcher from Orsay-Paris University

1990 : First commercial CrossBeam based on a Jeol SEM, for IBM

1993 : Nano Physics subsidiary company

1996 : Design of the VP SEM and VPSE detector for Leica electron microscopy

1998 : Company moves to Provence – First OEM FIB columns in clean room environment

2001 : Additional O.E.M. contracts - New column designs

2004 : New building to increase production capacity as well as R&D activity
First FIB columns fully UHV compatible

2005 : ISO 9001 - IQ Net certification

2007 : First UHV electron beam column with Schottky emitter

2008 : Official launch of COBRA-FIB and MonoGIS

Today : Continuous increase of FIS/FEB/GIS production
